Style Construction is a family-run building company based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. For 27 years we've built new homes, added second storeys, reworked existing homes and rebuilt from the ground up, right across the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs.
Nick Williamson started the business on a simple idea: do good work, keep your word, and talk to people straight. That still holds. You deal with the same builder from your first meeting through to handover. We know the local councils, the coastal and bushfire sites, and the trusted trades who help bring each home to life.
From a full custom home to a single-room renovation, we give you an honest price and build something you'll love coming home to.
Our Building Services
New Homes
A custom home built to your plans, or drawn up with our team. We handle the lot, from siteworks and slab through to the last coat of paint, and keep you across cost and progress the whole way.
Home Extensions
When you've run out of room, we add ground-floor extensions and first-floor additions built to match the existing home, so the new space looks like it was always part of the house. We handle the council approvals from start to finish.
Home Renovations
Kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes and older places that need bringing up to date. We work around how you live and keep the disruption as short as the job allows.
Knockdown Rebuild
When you love the street but not the house, we demolish and rebuild on your block. You get a brand new home without giving up the neighbourhood you chose.

Our Process
Step 1 - Initial Meeting
We sit down, look at what you want to build and roughly what you want to spend, and talk through how to bring the two together.
Step 2 - Site Inspection
We walk the block to check access, slope, orientation and anything that will affect the build or the budget.
Step 3 - Plan Preparation
We prepare concept and working drawings, either with your architect or through our own people.
Step 4 - Quote
You get a detailed, itemised quote, fixed price or cost plus, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Step 5 - Council
We lodge and manage your DA or CDC approval, so the whole process is handled for you.
Step 6 - Costings
We lock in finishes, fixtures and final costs together, so the number you sign is the number you pay.
Step 7 - Contracts
A clear Master Builders contract sets out the scope, the timeline and the payment stages before a tool comes out.
Step 8 - Building Works
We get to work, keep you updated as the build takes shape, then hand over a home that's ready to move straight into.

Every home is different, so the price comes down to the size of the build, the site and the finishes you choose. Once we've seen your plans and your block, we give you an itemised quote, fixed or cost plus, based on the real detail of your project.

The size of the build, council timeframes and how quickly finishes are chosen all shape the schedule. We set out a clear timeline in your contract and keep you updated on progress the whole way through.

Yes. We prepare and lodge your DA or CDC application and manage it through to approval, so the planning side is taken care of for you. If your project needs a private certifier, we can arrange that too.

Yes. We hold a current NSW builder's licence, carry the required insurances including home warranty cover, and we're a member of Master Builders NSW.
