PLATEAU HOUSE

Monterey Rd, Bilgola Plateau

Style construction worked very closely with the both the architect and the clients at the very early stages of design to achieve a high standard finish. The overall design idea was to open up the top level of the house/ the kitchen flowing onto the back entertaining deck and pool area. We removed the entire back of house brick veneer wall while propping the existing ceiling /roof line during construction. We installed a large engineered steel beam 9m in length to create an 8 m opening for a custom set of large sliding doors to open up the back of house. We then removed a few internal walls and the old existing kitchen to start the rebuild of the new kitchen. We are extremely happy with the decision to make a feature In-situ concrete benchtop, formed up and poured on site then polished. The overall outcome of this project has made a fantastic difference to the clients Home and added a significant amount of value to the property.
